Cruising the Baltic

Sail Date: May 2017
Destination: Baltic Sea
Embarkation: Copenhagen
My intent was to explore the Baltic and particularly St. Petersburg. The ports of call were interesting but another day in St. Petersburg would have made the time spent more relaxing. Since I have travelled extensively with HAL, four star, I was quite disappointed in the entertainment. Big screen movies in my book do not classify as entertainment, yet, we had four nights of movies. The pianist was a good choice but sadly, his piano was quite out of tune. The staff in the diningroom as always was pleasant and the food choices were excellent. Missing aboard this ship were a wider choice of organized onboard activities, a librarian and a self-service laundry. Embarkation and disembarkation were well organized and operated smoothly. I was particularly impressed with the final disembarkation organization. Less

Cabin review: J6143 Interior Stateroom

Neat and tidied by our attendants who promptly fulfilled our requests. The room was adequate for those who do not need frills.
