Great Cruise, Drank a bunch, had a blast

Sail Date: June 2017
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)
We just got off the ship having cruised with another family (plus friends of theirs) and we had a great time. We used the main DR 6 out of 7 nights and our head waiter Yatendra was very attentive. Unfortunately his assistant was useless so he had to work twice as hard.

Our stateroom attendant "Gerlene" was also fantastic, we never needed a thing, "it" was always there for without asking.

The food was decent, breakfast grew tiresome as it's always the same thing whether in themain DR, the Buffet (Windjammer) or room service. Lunch also was a bit boring and if you are hungry after 10:00 your only choices are Pizza or Booze.

Speaking of Booze..... The Deluxe package is WELL worth the price paid. When you do the math ahead of time it works out to break even at around 7 drinks per day (56.). We had neary 130 (and those were just the ones rung up that we could count from the room statement!) Add to that countless bottles of water and More approximately 50 bottles of San Pelligrino over the week and to say we made out on that deal would be a gross understatement!

The unlimited picture package when purchased within the first 3 days for $196 is a steal! Buying 20 pictures would have cost $249 if purchased at the end of the cruise (or $20 each) but we have over 200 (yes, 200) professional photos to enjoy!!!!! Yet another steal if you do it right and take all the pics you can. The kids simply tell their room number and took their own when they were apart as well,

Excursions: Nassau is Gross and you get bombarded with Taxi drivers and street vendors. Stay on the ship!

St Thomas is beautiful. A boat ride around the Isalnd was amazing and we enjoyed Honeymoon beach for the day.

St Kitts was simply awe inspiring. Very good shopping, and then we did the Catamaran Sail and Snorkel. We had the best time by far on this trip, and the reef we explored was teaming with tons of Fish, Rays, and even a massive Barracuda! Awesome!

Great trip, Can't wait to do it again!!

Cabin review: FI11149 Family Interior Stateroom

Largeroom, tiny bathroom. We have 5 family members (it sleeps 6) and it was great. Next time we will only do a Balcony though as we missed all of the arrivals and departures everywhere we went. Also VERY DARK!
