Fun! Great family vacation!

Sail Date: May 2017
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Port Canaveral (Orlando)
We have been on several cruises (family of 5) Carnival and RC. We enjoyed this boat a lot!! Carnival Magic had a lot of fun dance/music parties, very-good shows, comedy shows and the food was really good (especially pizza). Cabin stewart was very good. Asked if we wanted morning or evening service. We chose morning and he left towel animals every morning. Dining room attendants were good and very polite. I felt like everyone really tried to be nice and serve everyone well. There were people constantly picking up dirty dishes, finished drinks at the pool area etc. They really tried to keep it clean.

My teenage boys loved Teen O2. They met a lot of friends. They also loved the sports deck.

My 7yr old enjoyed putt-putt, ping pong, ropes course and loved the waterslides.

The late-night music/dance parties were good. Wish they were a little longer. The Motown and 80s trivia music was very good and funny. Cruise Director Dr. E was excellent. He was very More involved.

Getting on/off the boat was very quick and efficient. The best we have had yet! Port Canaveral is great! We boarded at 12:30.

We would definately go on this boat again!!

Only complaint- the boat was a little confusing to navigate. We wish Guys Burgers and Mongolian Wok was open for lunch and dinner. (hrs are kinda limited)

Wish the Lido buffet was open a little later and had different buffet bars available to choose from.

Amber Cove-- resort pool was nice and clean

St Thomas-- Megans Bay beach was beautiful. A must see! Driving there was a little scary on the tour. Very curvy roads.

San Juan-- did a Rainforest tour and San Juan ports. Very historical.

Grand Turk-- beach was beautiful. Snorkeling was great (we brought our own snorkel gear). They beach area was VERY crowded. 2 boats in port. Everyone was laying on top of each other-- no privacy. Beach was roped off, so there wasn't a lot of beach area. Less

Cabin review: 9C9380 Premium Vista Balcony

Rooms a little small but that was expected. Roomy closets and storage under the bed. Beds are comfortable. Rooms could have been a little cooler. We loved our balcony! So nice to watch the boat come in/out of different ports.

Port and Shore Excursions

Resort pool is nice and clean. Umbrellas and chair cost in certain areas near the pool. Has lazy river, pool bar and water slides (free) and small kiddie area.

water is beautiful. Great for snorkeling. 2 boats were in port so was CRAZY crowded. Not much beach area for 8000 people. Chairs/umbrellas are on top of each other-- no privacy.

Rainforest

had a tour guide/bus ride-- very informative. Waterfall was beautiful. Just wish we had more time to walk around through the forest. We didn't see any snakes, spiders or anything like that. A little disappointing. Tour of forts were great and beautiful.

Magen Bay Beach

Beach is beautiful! Wasn't very crowded. Bus ride there was curvy and kinda scary ,but fun. They stopped twice briefly to let us take some awesome pictures.
