Activities galore, but really, really huge ship.
Embarkation: Bayonne (Cape Liberty)
There are a ton of activities for people of all ages. We chose not to take advantage of them, because we both really wanted and needed the R&R. We did thoroughly enjoy the shows that we attended in the Royal Theater.
Of course, the food was amazing and delicious, and it was hard to choose what I wanted. My taste buds wanted everything, but my tummy would not allow it. The bread and rolls are wonderful. I wished I had more More room to eat more of the rolls, they were that good.
We chose not to eat in any of the specialty restaurants, since we were very happy with the food and service in the main dining rooms. We decided to sleep in, so we took advantage of the Solarium Bistro, which had a brunch buffet until 1:30 p.m., and there were lots of choices that we enjoyed. One evening, we decided to have dinner at the Windjammer buffet. Oh my goodness, talk about choices??
So, would we want to go on another cruise? Absolutely! However, this ship is just way too big for us, and it's very crowded. Less
